- BA, Beloit College in Psychology
- MA & PhD, University of Rochester in Psychology
- Licensed as a Psychologist in RI (since 1986)
- Licensed as a Psychologist in NC (since 2019)
- Licensed through PSYPACT (since 2021) to work with individuals from the following states: NV, CO, UT, AZ, DE, GA, IL, MO, NE, NH, OK, PA, TX, VA, AL, KY, and DC.
Professional Experience:
I maintained a traditional office practice for over 30 years in Rhode Island, working with children, adults, and families and offering psychotherapy, psychological testing, and school consultation. Following a move to Chapel Hill, NC, I have transitioned over the past 2 years to telehealth practice, continuing to provide quality services in a private, secure setting.
Other experience has included teaching and supervision in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to this I had a position teacher in the Department of Pediatrics at University of Illinois Medical Center.
Volunteer Activities:
- North Carolina Psychological Association: advocating for psychologists, the field of psychology, and North Carolinians’ mental health and access to mental health care.
- Emma Pendleton Bradley Psychiatric Hospital for Children: Co-chair of the Ethics Committee.
- Rhode Island Psychological Association: Past-President, Past-Chair of the Ethics Committee.
